I have an issue with my brakes
1999 NB 10 AE
I put new carbotech pads all round 3 months ago
all ok until brakes began to feel that they were not releasing completely
adjusted rears all OK after 2 3 weeks, same issue has reoccured
starts off ok ends up feeling like I have 100 kgs extra in the boot
So far I have greased the slider pins and thoroughly flushed the brakes
any thoughts as to why this is happening

Re: Recurring Brake Issue
Sorry can't think of an obvious reason unless it's a dodgy master cylinder, with the rears are you tightening the adjustment screw and then loosening it 1/3rd of a turn?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Re: Recurring Brake Issue
I recently had a similar problem, turned out that one of the front calipers had some corrosion in it. Had the two fronts rebuilt, problem solved.
Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever.

Re: Recurring Brake Issue
Dave,
Glad to hear it is finally fixed. Was it the booster or the little rubber 'reaction disc' that goes between the pushrods from booster to M/C?
