Looking forward to it Keith. Only 11 months to go. You'll have to show me the way around Wakefield Park.

Not sure about the distance but I'm pretty sure I'll be in attendance.

Re: NatMeet 2012 - Canberra ACT
I have been looking forward to this but have been shocked by the cost, and further shocked by what is excluded from the cost (e.g. accomodation and the Wakefield track day). I assume this is due to my ignorance of what it takes to put together such a complex event, so can someone please explain to this novice where the money goes? (I am sure there is more to the costs than six meals, trophies and some venue fees such as the war memorial).
Thanks, Colin.
(No disrespect intended. I would just like to understand, and I think this would benefit others who are trying to justify a decision to go also).

Re: NatMeet 2012 - Canberra ACT
Hi
A fair question. Natmeet is expensive to run. The first issue is the time of the year, being a public holiday almost every day over Easter we are faced with up to 50% surcharges on food prices. The costs include but are not limited to the following: morning & afternoon teas, meals (some including an allowance for drinks, Friday night, Saturday lunch, Saturday night, Sunday lunch, Sunday night, Monday lunch, Monday night), venue hire (Which is also expensive), registration & welcome packs for each attendee, bus hire to get us to some venues, administration costs, signage, cleaning equipment & materials (for washing your baby), entertainers, prizes (concourse etc) decorations, publicity, insurances, etc etc. The upside is that it is an event to remember. We hope to see you there. Peter Natmeet X Chair

To Okibi & Moderators - How do we go about arranging to have the obsolete NatMeet 2010 banner replaced with this new one? If there are any concerns about the authenticity of this request, please contact Peter Feutrill, NatMeet X Chair at vicepres@mx5.com.au. Thanks.

Done
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
