What cruise control kit
I'm after a cruise control for my Mazda MX5 NA6, trying to keep it on a budget so does around the $200 sound reasonable? What brands are out there, and what should I be looking at?

Re: What cruise control kit
The Command kits are supposed to be OK, but the cheap ones (like the AP60) aren't any good. The AP150 is the cheapest one I would buy and it goes around $350 plus installation.
If you are patient, you may be able to put together an OEM kit from parts imported from the US - watch eBay USA as the parts come up occasionally. This install will take some work and adaptation given the LHD/RHD orientation as the servos were designed for mounting on the other side AFAIK.

If I pieced together an OEM kit from eBay, what parts would I need exactly for a fully functional cruise control

To be honest, I don't know. m.net is the place to go. At a minimum, you will need the cockpit switch, servo, wiring loom and a cruise control stalk assembly. There may be some other parts.

I reckon unless you really know your way around these things then it is better to buy a new control and be sure it is does what you want with safety. The argument by many is that cruise controls pay for themselves if you have a prob on the acc pedal.
