Hi everyone,
I think my battery is going to die soon and am worried the factory head unit will need a PIN to activate it.
My 5 is a NB8A and I bought the NB8B head unit from Mania but never got the PIN for it.
I remember reading somewhere there is a way around it? If not possible I guess I'll call Mania when I get a chance.
Thanks
Ed

Or may be try calling Mazda Australia on 1800 034 411, or email: <CustomerServiceEnq@mazda.com.au> for suggestions.

If the PIN wasn't activated, then you'll not need the PIN when you replace the battery.
If the red LED light on the NB8B stereo flashes when you turn the car off (you might have to take the key out too), then you'll need a PIN to unlock the radio.
