Would not disagree with you at all. Whatever it is, stiffening the miata chassis yields benefits in many folds:

1. better comfort;
2. vastly improved handling;
3. more high speed stability;
4. can run stiffer spring settings and have superior ride;
5. perceived solidity;

All in all, it just makes you want to go to the milkbar or Bunnings or anywhere more often. Without those braces, the MX5 is like Jelly. With those braces, it transform the MX5 into a supercar handling category !!!
