Boss kit / hub adapter for NB?

Postby timk » Tue Apr 12, 2011 12:25 pm

Hi,

Does anyone know of a boss kit to suit the spline on the NB? It's for an OMP wheel which I think has 6 bolts with 70mm spacing between opposite holes.

There's plenty around that say they will fit the NA up to '97, but I have no idea if the NA and NB share the same spline.

I've attached a pic of the spline measurement but I'm not even sure if this is the correct way to measure it!

Cheers

According to Miata.net Garage Compatibility it seems there are fitment problems - see last entry under aftermarket: http://www.miata.net/garage/compatibility.html

Ask mazlot, he had a Sparco I think it was in his SP.

Just for people doing a search later on; the spline is the same so the boss kit will work, but you may need to crack out the Dremel to make some allowances for the clockspring.

Normal NA mx5 hub fits on NB just get rid of the clock spring on a race car.
NC Roadie, NC Racey, ND Racey….and a 30AE

Plus several others in the bone yard...
