Just back from a club run, and not happy with my setup.
I now regret putting my PSS9s on the racecar, they gave me a great ride with firm but not harsh control.
I am going to start ringing around tomorrow, but if anyone has a suggestion for a good deal on these, I'd love to hear.
Just to be clear, I don't want anything other than another set of PSS9 - yes, I know I am a pig-headed old fart

PSS9 - where to buy?
Hi Green Machine,
I got mine from the US 12 months ago when the dollar was nice and high. The dollar is looking reasonable so it may be worth getting them from there still. Below is the website that I used.

Re: PSS9 - where to buy?
greetings all from an ex-NC owner....
Although this question is with respect to my new car, series 2 Rx8, I am really keen on some opinions.
I am after some PSS9's for my Rx8. I have been quoted $3300 from Heasman's in Sydney, but amazingly I have found then form $1467 in the US at SHOX.COM. I presume there will extra duties + postage on these, but is there ANY reason why there would be any differences in the PSS9's for Rx8 in the US vs AUS? i.e should it be exactly the same product? is there any possibility they are gassed differently or similar? Any opinions muchly appreciated. And any knowledge of postage/duties would help as well.
cheers

Re: PSS9 - where to buy?
I got my PSS9's from shox.com in November last year. No problems at all with buying from them etc, very easy to deal with, shipped quickly. They did get delayed a few days getting through customs, but otherwise seemless and to my door within 10 days of ordering online. You'll pay GST, stamp duty and customs duty as well as a charge to DHL for sorting the customs side of things. All up it was just under $1900 - much better than the $3700 that you need to pay to buy them in Australia!
Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever.

Fulcrum Suspension in QLD, who are the Tein importers, custom Teins for Australian conditions as opposed to Japanese. They say because our roads are generally poorer, some find the JDM Teins are harsh, so they revalve & use differently rated springs here.

Re: PSS9 - where to buy?
Shox.com has some deal for internet car clubs if you want to go down this path. Looks like you submit the forum name.
The manager of the forum might want to look at that if it is compatible with existing sponsorships.
There is a h&r deal on a clearance coilover. Yellowspeed may still be a far better supported option.
Anyone else looking specifically for pss9?

Re: PSS9 - where to buy?
They are in, at last!!
It only took a short suburban drive to vindicate my memories of just how nice these are and to curse my procrastination in getting back onto them (but better late than never!). If you are hesitating, don't - jump right in, the water is fine
