MX5 BREAKFAST CLUB – BREAKIE IN GAOL – 10 APRIL 2011

some bad news , re my car bijo , the panel beater received the new nose today , but it has been stored badly , being of plastic , it has its front slightly flattened. Not a good look .
So for me to run this Sunday I need Mazda to send a non damaged one tomorrow or put the old one back on with some gaffer tape and chewing gum . seeing that the mounts for the screws are mostly broken . Interesting construction.
I had planned to stop for coffee and toilet break at Tarana. There are no public facilities. So we have coffee and pit stop at the Magpie Hollow rd (love the name) turn off from the great eastern hwy.

The Club’s IMG secure entry point for registration closed today. The run is still open. Seventeen people registered and paid on line. With 40 seats available indoors there is plenty of room for more to join the run.

If you enjoy an early spirited run an early run over the mountains and around the Central Tablelands and would like to join us then add your name and coffee preference for the convenience stop on Magpie Hollow Road to the list. Sign on at Richmond for the start and pay the $25 for breakfast and a small donation to the Clubs charities. The current list is:

Hey Rob,

How's the repair going?

Just putting the idea forward - I know I've got a spare seat in my car and I'm sure quite a few others would be more than happy to have a co-pilot as well.

You're also welcome to have a drive in my car if you're keen to train up your left leg

Note - I'm not sure whatever you need to bring to make the morning coffee would fit in my boot though but let me know if you're up for it and i'll need to work out a time to get to your cafe to pick you up.

This sounds like an awesome run, but i can't do wakie on saturday (after 11 months!) AND go on a drive sunday..

Good news Bijo's nose is sprayed and being remounted now. Should pick her up today.

it was a great run today and nice to meet every one. Thank you all for comming. We covered lots of twisting roads. Ending in a having vgood breakfast in the old gaol cafe. would love to see any photos .

Thanks Rob and Michael really enjoyable day, great roads, little traffic ( until closing on Sydney) top breakfast and excellent company. So good to see 6 newbies and looking forward to catching on future runs.
