Need to borrow/buy some blue touchup paint
In a moment of complete stupidity, I attempted to unlock the 'Solo hardtop fitment' achievement, and put a nice scratch in the paint near one of the Frankenstein bolts in the process. Does anyone in Melbourne have some spare Mariner Blue touchup paint lying about, or is there a recommended place to buy some?

Not sure where you are in Melbourne, but if you're close to any Auto One, simply bring the paint code of the Mariner Blue and they'll mix one for you. You can either have it in a jar or in a pressure pack can.

I'm in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, so even the closest store is a fair hike away, but if they're good, i'll make the trip.

if not, Autobarn etc have touch up paint sections. There might be one there.
your Blue is the same as the Aussie delivered one AFAIK so shouldn't be too bad.
if not, do like I did, ask if you can take a few cans outside and compare them to the car.
I think I ended up using come Suzuki colour that's so close to Twilight Blue it's not funny.

Milsomes are on Burwood hgy in FTG or Knox near Bob Janes / ask MX5 factory for info / try a spare part dealer.

Drive to a smash repairer, (with an empty clean glass vegemite jar) they'll take your colour code off the car and mix it on the spot.
Anywhere between $10 and $30. Cheers
