Re: Show off your head units
I think I understand the problem. It was Flickr. I was supposed to have a file hoster that gave me a name of a file rather than a link to the page with the file on it.

Re: Show off your head units
You need to turn that pocket upside down to turn the centre console from a "scared face" to a "happy face".
Don't worry about dying, worry about not living!

Yeah I get that alot... Who knew the centre console could have so much expression and show so much emotion.

looks stunning Lokiel.
And1 I have that same head unit in 2 of my cars.
Can't find a pic of my headunit, might need to take a new one.

If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Found an old photo of my head unit before I replaced the plastic storage hole with 3 gauges

Replacing the Alpine CDE 103BT single din is this lovely new Pioneer Avic-F20BT.
This is the one I should have got in February but was too much of a tight arse. I'm pretty happy with it now and Marty at FHRX did a cracker of a job installing.

Re: Show off your head units
I've had to send the HX-D2 off for repair, so I've sourced a classic Eclipse CD8455 as a temporary replacement.
I actually think it suits the interior better then the Clarion did visually, especially because it has the adjustable lighting colours. It's currently set to blue-green, so that it illuminates blue normally, but when the headlights turn on the functions illuminate green to match the dash lighting.

Taken Right outside FHRX on the day I picked it up.
Working on the new fiberglass box now exactly like the 1st one in the subwoofer box thread. I will be buying a new sub as well to suit. I will talk to Marty but what do you think?

About the sub or the enclosure?
For the sub, I'd probably have to say Morel Ultimo. From what I've seen they seem to work nicely in pretty small boxes (especially the SC model) and from my experiences they sound excellent.

I like what I've been reading about the Ultimo SC I'm shopping for one now.
Any suggestions on best place to buy?
The box will be the fun bit. I've got all the glass and custom board.
Just found all the box specs and speaker dimensions on Morel website. I will start on it tomorrow
