????

If i have 10% tint.... meaning it only allowes 10% of the light into the vehicle, then i would have to argue that IT IS BLOCKING THE SUN..... 90% of it.

and i can also tell you drivign to work this mornign the sun was sitting right in my tinted area of the windscreen..... and there was no glare, i didnt need to squint or put my hand up to cover my eyes.....

So i dont know what your quite getting at.

I didnt say that sun visors themselves are useless,i just prefer the tint over a physical trim piece taht folds down.

Haha no, he's referring to me. I'm the one who said they're useless!

don't be daft Dave- so if you wear really dark sunnies that will fix it right? Or you wear wide brimmed hat- most just muck around with baseball caps- hats help but the ones with the brim look daggy and we are too cool for that. When the orb is is in the right possy it burns a spot on your retina and the only answer is ...something that blocks it completely - an sv. Tint and sunglasses assist with glare - they do not block out the sun.

This is so extreme, don't compare this to hats hahaha. Omg, should I wear floaties as well as learn to swim? Not everyone want's to look like a 60 year old man you know (joke). But seriously; since he's already done the job, you shouldn't be guilt tripping.

if i was that worried about the sun i wouldnt have done the following....

a. bought a convertible
b. continued to live in australia
c. gone outside
d. put windows on my house

The only.... and i repeat ONLY reason i use a sun visor is to keep the glare out of my eyes, cause if i wanted to keep the sun off my eyes i am on the wrong planet.
