Re: Favourite Colour Poll
Done!
White for me. I wouldn't have considered white when I was looking a few years back, but now I've changed completely. If I were to buy another one, it would be white.
However I got red as I went with mechanicals over aesthetics.

Re: Favourite Colour Poll
To be honest, my first choice was red. I chose the British Racing Green for the same reason Pamex did, the mechanicals and perfect service history. That is not to say that I do not like British Racing Green. In fact it is really starting to grow on me. In some lights it has a beautiful depth to it.
Other colours I love are Mariner Blue and White. So if I had enough money I would get myself a red, a white and a blue to go along with my Green one. Better to have four MX5s than one Ferrari
In the NB by the far my favourite colour is the Ice Blue one that Debounce has.
Disclaimer: in case anyone feels terribly like they want to start a flame war about the merit or four MX-5s vs one Ferrari , please step back, take a few deep breaths and exhale slowly. If it does not work take a few chill pills. Its only light hearted banter.

Re: Favourite Colour Poll
When i started looking last year for my first MX5 (it had to be an NA) i saw a green one. The colour looked great but there were a couple of things that put me off buying the car. I ended up getting a red Clubman which had a perfect history and was very well looked after. All my previous cars have been blue, black or metallic grey. I never really liked red cars, i even used to day dream that if i won the lotto i would buy a blue Ferrari, not red.
Since owning the red Clubman i am totally sold on red cars now. My lotto Ferrari would definately be red now!
Red certainly gets you noticed i've found. A friend of mine had a white NA and whenever we used to park up by a cafe along the coast, passers by would always look more at my red Clubman than her white NA. Both cars were in great condition and pretty much stock, mine is lowered however and hers was not.
Cheers
