I'm out for tomorrow everyone :(

The problem with being a double politics major is that it tends to get in the way of awesome runs like this.

The homemade Totoro costume will have to come out at the next FnC instead!

I'm out.

Combination of cold and flu medication and corporate games today is not conducive to a 4.30am get up.

Take care in the moisture.

Home safe, sound and fairly dry. Was good to put some faces to names and I had a great time despite the very early start. Top of the list for new things for the car is a new set of tyres, standing water + tyres on the wear indcators = not a lot fun.

Good to hear you got home safe and sound mate. It was horrid road conditions on the way back...some parts it was like driving through a river! Regardless it was good to meet everyone and see you guys at the next one.

The worst thing is probably getting passed by big chubby 4WDs uphill :(

Can't wait for the pics - good stuff to the guys who showed up.

Where did you guys up North go?

It was nice to see so many hardy souls braving the rain at the crack of sparrows fart on such a damp Sunday. To be honest though I nearly turned back at Waterfall because all I could see were two little red dots from the car in front, and nothing else. I'm glad I didn't though as things got a lot better after sunrise. I have to apologise to everyone for my lackluster attire but it was a spur of the moment descision to attend.

A big thanks to two40 and Midori for organising the day.

Cheers

Thanks to everyone that braved the torrential rain to attend what turned out to be a very enjoyable day. We have some very keen club and forum members. You came from as far as Melbourne and some were up at 3am to be there! I bow to your dedication. It was great to be able to turn off the wipers after sunrise and pull the top down. Can't say the same for the very wet trip home though.

Also wanted to congratulate everyone on their outstanding effort in regards to their costumes. It was great to see everyone get into the spirit of things. I wish I had thought ahead to work out a prize for best costume. I'll make sure and do that next year if everyone is keen to revisit a themed cruise. If I had to pick a winner though, it would have to be Fernando in his punk rocker outfit complete with tight shirt, zebra pants and a very cool wig.

There's a noticeable lack of photos for such a colourful event. Wish I had more to share but this is it from me. As a final note, thanks to Michael for an outstanding job leading the bunch and keeping us all together.

11 cars made it in the end.
