koni groove question

Postby trader » Fri Mar 11, 2011 9:55 am

Well I've just finished painting my front spoiler for (hopefully) the last time. My NA sits with 330 mm on the front and 350 mm at the rear. I've looked at the big forum and see that most discussion talks of ride height with three grooves. My Koni's have only two and they are about 12mm apart. If I move to the top one I presume that it will lift my height about 18mm - not much but should stop all the small gutter contacts. I have fat cat bump stops and standard springs. Does changing the ride height this much mean that I will need to get a new alignment? I guess it will change the camber but will that be a significant amount?

for 18mm I wouldn't bother with the alignment unless it has been a while since you last got one done... Taking the mother in law for a ride would cause more alignment issues then what your taking about.
Apart from Mazda............ trust nothing else...

Thanks mate, the reason I asked is I have just had a wheel alignment. Will take a measurement before and after and see what I come up with.
