My 01 8B seems to have a strange intermittent idle problem.
happens once or twice a week after i have installed my SMB intake.
When i start her up when its cold it idles at about 2000rpm or just above, when she is warm it starts idle hunting form about 1500-2000rpm. I then let it cool down over night, then it doesnt happen for another few days.
Ive cleaned up the throttle body with no success. I also disconnected the ISC plug when its warm with no success.
Is there any other ideas as to what it could be.
Thanks guys

Re: Idle Problem
I had the same issue but not intermittent
It was the Idle Air Controller
There is a bit of a story and an article on how to clean it HERE
NB8A and NB8B have the same IAC
