Re: QLD Club: Track Day Schedule
The NCs chassis really suits Lakeside.
I was watching the cars coming under the bridge and down into Hungry and the attitude and speed of the NCs was great.
Really impressive.
Although the fastest NC did have Teinflex and R Spec tyres.
IIRC
Top 6 cars were group 1.
NC x2
NA Race Car x1
Nissan thing x1
BMW M3 x1
MINX SE x1 (i didnt want to show them up so hung at the back of group 1 )

....and the 7th and 8th fastest were NCs on street tyres. The only mod to 7th is adjustable Whiteline sway bars and 8th is bog stock. Both cars dríven by old guys.

Re: QLD Club: Track Day Schedule
Yeah I was getting mid 1:07 in the nc
On street tyres
Got a low 1:06 in last race there last week end
Only thing I miss is the abs on nc as with the gearing of the na and the 1800 power feels the same

Nah, just admit it Stu, you mis-timed your run and left it too late didn't you!
(I just can't accept that 2 NCs can finish ahead of a modded SE).

Yeah but that was a "Race car" (which I will accept)

Re: QLD Club: Track Day Schedule
Now now kiddies.
Those who were not there should not argue which is what whatever.
They should come to the next track day and show us how its done!
Also, be aware each of the cars had different drivers of different levels of skills and commitment and willingness to 'bin' said car.
I need to drive mine home, and every where else for that matter.

I was there.
I will be at the next one - pending birth of 2nd child will not be an issue this time.
I am aware of everyones level of skill.
I have also previously dríven home a car with a busted steering rack from the track - so personal experience is not to use the 'bin' option again.
