Anyone done the 99-05 shocks/springs/mounts in a 1990-97

Hello all,
Has anyone with a 1990-1997 MX5 done that conversion to 1999-2005 Spring/shock combo and the shock mounts like they sell at flying miata?

I'm interested in the final result, as I'm thinking of doing this as I need to replace the shocks and springs anyway.
but you need to buy 1999-2005 springs and shocks to go with those mounts.
Oh dear, the wick in the engine's gone out.
