Went to my first track/instructional day today and had loads of fun.
On the way home it was making a funny sound though, had a look and sure enough the front brake pads are gone.
Which ones are recommended for 8Bs? I need it fairly soon because it's my main method of transportation, so maybe somewhere local?
Are the OEM mazda ones fine? How much will they set me back?
The pads on the inside were much more used than the outside. The inside ones were almost bare whereas the outside ones had ~2mm, is this a problem?
Also, how can I tell if the rotors are still fine or will need resurfacing?
Excuse the noob questions, this is one of the first mechanical things I've ever done
Btw I saw a vic club member in a silver NB8B but after that session the car disappeared and I couldn't pick the guy out with his helmet off
Looking for NB8B brake pads... which ones?

About $300ish from Mazda, but Mazda just resell (or did recently) the bendix advance, which were around $70 for a set of fronts.
More high performance offerings such as the Hawk HP+ are around $200

Supreme Blue NB8B, 1:16.98 at Wakefield when stock, but it's not stock any more...

Sounds like your calipers pins need greasing.

Make sure you use the correct synthetic grease for the slide pin and NOT wheel bearing grease as discussed HERE
