Edit: video has been deleted as it was crap  Much better video lives here

As you can hear, the car doesn't always idle properly - initially it'll hunt between 800rpm and 1500rpm, then it'll settle down and fluctuate between 1000 and 1200.
This is mostly as a result of the lumpy cams - Brian Goodwin had the same problem, and I'm not sure I want to go for his old-school solution of drilling holes in the throttle butterfly  - it's not too bad so I think I can live with it :D

Also, you can hear the serpentine belt squeaking away in the background. It's not the original Gates belt as that broke a couple of weeks ago and I had trouble sourcing a replacement. I will order a proper Gates one.

I'm still running in the new engine so am limited to 3800rpm and not using more than around 50% throttle, so I expect that lovely supercharger whine to get even louder.. Stand by for further updates

To answer the other questions in the thread - I won't know what power it makes until I've finished running in the engine and take the car back for its final tune.

Yes the plan is to have it ready for the Sprint and Autotest in March.

Initial driving impressions - The car now has a boatload of torque down low, even at half throttle the 3800rpm limiter comes up very quickly.

Also, as I was afraid of the combination of supercharger plus 4-1 headers plus open midpipe plus trust exhaust makes for a very LOUD combination, so I can see a resonator being added back in soon...

Looks great!

Total cost inc. cosworth internals, shipping, duties, tuning etc?

Also, what tuning method are you using? Xedy/Sniper or DP/Moto East?

I don't know the total cost, I dare not add it all up

Am running an Adaptronic ECU.

Initial dyno results are in:

200hp @ 10psi - a little more tuning to be done.

And I finally get to rev past 3800rpm. Driving impressions? Hell! Yes! This is how it should have come from the factory.

And am loving the whine of the supercharger on full song. More videos to come!
