Adelaide - Where to buy and have alarm installed?

Postby chrislevingston » Thu Jan 27, 2011 12:14 pm

My almost 20 year old alarm has finally died, so I need another for my NA6.

I already have all of the switches fitted, plus the remote door switching, so the install should be pretty straightforward.

The people that I have called are all asking crazy money!

All suggestions gratefully accepted.

George at GT Auto Sound is the goto guy for electrical/car audio etc in Adelaide. He did the immobiliser with central locking install in my MX-5 when they were back in the South Rd location.

If your alarm happens to be a Tisonic brand, you could take it to FineTech (used to be Tisonic International) at Glynde for inspection & repair. The Tisonic branded alarms/immobilisers were actually made in Adelaide (not sure if designed & or manufactured). Which is what I did with my alarm/immobiliser/turbo timer unit in the Familia. Much cheaper then having a new system installed. They can also test the keyring remotes there too & provide new ones if needed.

Thanks.

I bought an Autowatch 446 Premium from GT Auto Sound - I live 2 blocks away :-)

Nice bit of kit, and Theo was really easy to deal with.

Thanks.
