I have the Roadster Q from Goodwin on my 2005 NC, combined with AEM CAI, it all sounds real good. not excessive.
Goodwin are in USA and price is $409- for the muffler plus about $250- freight, total $659.00.
MXMania are selling exact same muffler at AUD$1100-+ freight from Qld, so it cannot be said that the Goodwin is expensive.
Am looking at doing same to my 2010 Series 2 NC and can get the Roadster Q and AEM CAI for approx AUD$1000- inc. freight from USA..... which is still cheaper than just the muffler from QLD.
I didnt fit the muffler but looks like it was an easy install.

"Best Mufflers" have the Remus at AUD$795- which is cheaper than the Roadster Q if sourced in Aus. but still more expensive than the Roadster Q if you buy it from Goodwin in USA

Dont mean to bring back such an old thread but i started looking at exhaust systems. GWR is quoting an extra $420 USD for shipping on just a roadster Q muffler!
Whatever caused such a HUGE hike!

Maybe a change in the shipping company or using a higher priority service.

I have the latest RoadsterSport Q with the rolled tips and love how it looks and sounds.
I managed to get mine landed in Aus for approx $450 late last year, but I was able to consolidate shipping with other items my work was getting from the US.

Hey Matt,
What happened to your old twin can Exhaust ? It was HKS Wasn't it ?
I'm running an older RoadsterSport (1 not Q) and it's a little bit quieter and deeper than Regie's GWR Headered and RoadsterSport Q fitted unit. We are both running CAI's so that increases the noise more than the exhaust but I don't find it droney on the highway and I'm now running a 4.1 diff so at highway speeds I'm about 500 rpm higher in the rev range at the same speed.
Installation was a no brainer so long as you have some detergent/soapy water. Butt dyno gave it a thumbs up particularly in the mid range and mine gets charmingly louder at about 3,500 when you put the boot in. I especially like the "cackle" that comes out on decelleration.
Give me a call if you want me to pop around and you can take Mace for another blast and listen for yourself. She's coming along nicely.
