wiring the termofan/s to a switch

What would be involved in wiring up two thermofans to a switch, so I can switch them on regardless of what the coolant temperature is? Would it be possible to wire it up so when it is off the fans still turn on once it triggers the thermoswitch? If I wanted to run two fans off of the one wire, would I be able to do that just by splicing the wire?

I did have one thought though; I recently removed my aircon for various reasons, but one of the things that I understand that the aircon does when it is on (besides cool you down) is turn both the thermofans on full blast no matter the water temperature. Would it be possible to tap into the wire which is coming from the connector to the AC fan to a slim line fan, and then be able to turn both the fans on, regardless of the water temperature, with the flick of the A/C button in the cabin.

I can't think of any adverse effects this would have? Any suggestions?

I have removed everything else to do with the A/C; the compressor, condenser, and the like, so in effect, once done, the only thing still connected (once the fan mod is done) would be the fan...

Please tell me I am right.

I'm not sure why you'd want the fans on full blast? Won't the ECU control it for you now?

I have my fans wired in through my standalone ECU to control the fans at specific switch points. Much easier than flipping a switch manually.

Pretty sure the relay for the AC fan pulls to ground to activate the AC, so to activate it by a switch you'd just need to pre-activate that relay, and if the switch wasn't switched the thermoswitch would work as normal. Is this a NA6 or another model?
