A special thanks to Sliq for giving so many people a good reason to get out of bed before sparrows fart with the opportunity to drive the Putty Road with fellow MX-5 enthusiasts and be back home by lunchtime.

Great day, thanks everyone. Despite my getting lost a few times (once by choice; was empty and needed to find petrol). PLaying catchup was fun though, especially with no cars on the road. Playing catchup with a couple of bikes along the forst 100km of putty road was also very fun XD
Guran, I didn't realise you were there today; you must introduce yourself next time. Else I will see you at the MX5 WP day.

Pics are up. A warning though, there are 63 of them and they come to a total of 22mb. Thought I'd put them in another thread to save bandwidth for those that don't care to load them each time they check the thread.

Yep I was driving the 135i ... and first to arrive at Maccas. I was the guy in the Socceroos jersey (hey, they need some support for the Asia Cup!). On the run, I was laughing to myself at how huge my car looked next to all those tiny MX-5s! It really is a bit of a truck in comparison.
As for putting faces to names, I hope to meet more next time out. And yes Mitch I'll definitely meet you at the next club trackday.

Re: Informal Annual Putty Rd Run Sunday 16 January 2011
I have been meaning to post for a while, but haven't found myself at a computer until now.
Firstly thanks to Mikey for organising what was a great day =)
Thanks to Cass for leading a bunch of mx-5s in the "Failboat"
I had a really great day, it was nice to catch up with everyone as always, an although the weather was patchy to start with it turned out to be a great day.
I made it back to work in time and the guys had a great lunch. (something something about mint jelly)
Looking forward to next years, not sure if I have any photos, honestly I can't remember... Guess I'll find out when I get the film developed =)
