AC and thermo fans

Postby aviper4u » Sat Jan 15, 2011 7:19 pm

Hey,

Yes i know yet another AC question though its hot so fair enough......

Is it normal for both the radiator's fans to turn on when the AC is on, stupid question though just noticed this as changed drive belts and was testing with bonnet open.

Also any simple ways to see how can get it colder as just had it gassed under a year ago.

cheers

Yes this is normal. When you switch on the AC you need air through the condensor whenever the compresor is running to remove the heat from the refrigerent being circulated.

The fan is on while the AC is on, the AC overrides the fan allways regardless of temperature and vehicle motion I hope this helps you.
