Well, it obviously doesn't as there's no switch for it - unless for some miraculous reason they made a car with the A/C automatically on when the fan is?
Anyway. What I'm interested in knowing is roughly what the cost for installation of an AC system is, or if it is indeed even possible? This is long-term stuff - I used to drive around a VN Commodore in Aussie summers with no A/C and survived back then, so I'm not fussed right now. I like to DIY but I have a pretty good idea I won't be doing an AC installation myself.
I have had a bit of a look through the forum to get an idea but unfortunately haven't really been able to dig up anything relative to my own needs. The car needs a bit of minor work done for various things but I got it quite cheap ($4700) and don't mind spending a bit of money getting it in good shape as I've missed having a project car!
Also, hi, I'm new I've owned my MX5 for nearly 36 hours!
So it appears my '93 NA6 doesn't have air conditioning.

No worries. They turn up for sale occasionally here. Track junkies like to ditch the AC as it's unnecessary weight. Best to make sure it was removed and stored properly. I understand that they might not work properly if ill treated during/after removal. Try searching the forum for details.
