Re: FIRST Friday of the month Mt. Nebo/Glorious run
Just went for a run over the hill with fd RX7 for company (sunday 9.30 am)
Road up to Jolly's is in great shape but if you keep heading up to Mt Glorious watch out for a huge Muther of a pot hole just before the road that goes back down to samford..
MX5 on just straddles it.....
have fun and play safe

Hi Andrew..the hole is about 200 meters from where you can turn off to go to Samford
(up near the current roadwork) where the road colour changes to a light grey
Hole is about 3 foot wide,4 foot long and looks deep enough to swallow a 5....

Ah yes I've heard of this hole. Saw a pic last week of what it did to a 19 inch FPV rim
The rim is beyond repair!

Pain is temporary, quitting lasts forever.

Tez, was it on the way back? Cause the only one I came across, coming from The Gap up to the Samford turn off to the right, was this:

Might not be the same one as it's about 1.5km from the Samford turn-off. It was right beside a lee-way that had piles of stones and gravel.

Ah ok. Well I was pleasantly surprised there were no other significant holes, and there was relatively little debris.
We'll only encounter this one if we go past Jolly's Outlook. It's not placed in an overly tricky spot as it's on a straight section.
