NA6 front decal/badge??

Hi there, I've been tossing this up for a long time. Before I bought my car I was told the front end had been resprayed.

it's a 1990 Aus delivered Classic Red NA6, I'm wondering what the badge was originally. I've been looking around and I can't seem to find anything online so I figured I'd try my luck here.

There are a few options. There is the old Mazda badge in the middle, the dark grey Mazda decal on the passenger side front or the light grey decal in the same place.

Which was standard for my model? Was there even a logo standard on there? Since the front end is all new paint now, I'd like to either re badge it or put the decal back on (if there was one originally)

No front badge, & I think the Mazda decal even came a bit later - '89 certainly didn't have decal & pretty sure '90 was the same.

Just noticed Bensale's white 1990 has a front Mazda decal amongst other things!

Mine is a June 90 model and has the original light grey Mazda on the left side of the bar

i think they stopped making that decal a while a ago - good luck finding one!

Mania actually stock both decals and I've seen the badges on ebay and other sites

Interesting - my red '89 was originally purchased from a mid SE Melb dealer by one of their staff - I bought it from the staff member about a year later at 3k kms with no decal.
