I haven't seen this mentioned yet, but i live in the Gosford area and the Kariong Hill has always been my favourite, IMO its more fun going up than down.
It is still a reasonable 70 km zone and very smooth, unlike some roads around here which are full of potholes where the RTA just stick up a road works "40 zone" sign and never fix it, such as old Woy Woy road (not recommended BTW anymore).

Re: Central Coast Highway, Kariong Hill
I still prefer Woy Woy Rd over Kariong Hill to get to Woy Woy/Umina. A little bumpy, but its a 80km zone, with nice sweeping corners. Just don't forget about the speed camera near the end.

Re: Central Coast Highway, Kariong Hill
It must be the States dumbest placed speed camera ever IMO, At least we all get plenty of prior warning.
Re: Central Coast Highway, Kariong Hill
Good news! The speed camera is one of 5 being removed from the Central Coast
Woy Woy Rd is definitely more fun than Kariong Hill, mainly because it's a bit longer, but you're more likely to be stuck behind slow drivers on Woy Woy Rd without a legal way around them.

Karing F3 bound is definitely my favourite, tighter corners, smooth and wide to enjoy racing lines when there's nobody about.
Also Cullens Road from Kincumber towards Copacabana is has some really great corners as well.
But the best road around here would have to be Putty, especially the end section up near Bulga, bit of a trek but holy sh*t that road is fun
