Hi
I have just purchased a aem cai from the usa and I'm about to purchase a mbc could some-one please supply a photo so i can clearly see which lines I will connect the boost unit too. Might save me a trip plus a fitting fee at the auto shop if i can knock this one over myself. plus the added satisfaction of doing it.
Thanks all.

Re: manual boost control - where in the engine bay?? any pho
Hey dude. If ur talking about a bleed boost valve that I think you are. You need to run it between the vacuum hose from the wastgate actuator and the intake pipe it runs to. Then take it for a drive screwed all the way in or out can't remember which one is like stock think out is. then adjust to what u want. Hope this helps
Sometimes I wonder why i have different taste to others??? Then I realise its because Im not a sheep

This sounds like deja-vu (ie. I was there not so long ago).
The red-capped T-Junction in the hose coming from the rear of the intake manifold in the photos below is where I (and many others with AEM kits) originally connected my MBC to (the circled T-connector on the left is where I tapped my boost gauge):
I purchased the FM stainless steel turbo pipe separately from FM (its's the one they use in their kit) and it has a barb that I now connect my EBC to instead of where I originally tapped it in the photos above.
FM and Gizzmo (the maker of my MS-2 EBC) recommend that it be taken as close to the turbo as possible, which is why the FM TBI doesn't include a barb for it and their Intake kit does.
Mazda and BEGI believe that it should be taken after the intercooler, which is why the OEM TBI and BEGI have it on their TBIs - I've read discusssions on this and now believe Mazda and BEGI are correct (basically you lose pressure through the intercooler so that should be taken into account before the boost controller "does its thing").
You could consider the FTP Quicktap Kit from ATP mentioned here: viewtopic.php?f=81&t=40478&p=522202#p522202 if you want to tap into an intercooler/TBI hose rather than doing any metalwork-modz to install a barb.
Hope this helps.
