The time has definitley come to change the shocks/springs/bushes in my beloved 5 (165,000km), and I've been labouring over my options for some time now.
I'd initially decided upon Tein SS/SuperPro bushes until I recently heard of the Koni Sport Kit (Spring+Damper) for approx $500 less than the Teins.
Theoretically Koni/Koni will complement each other better than any composite spring/shock combination but I cant find any evidence (via search) of anyone having tried them.
Has anyone tried them or heard of anyone trying them? I'm assuming this kit is quite new to the market.

Re: NA6 Koni Sport Kit?
I've been told they're very popular for almost every application as an entry level to adjustable shocks. Very good reliability, but I think you have to drill out your mounts to 12mm for NA6 applications. You might want to check that.
They've been around for a long time now, and I've seen them on lots of Daihatsus, Hondas, Subarus and Mazdas.

Oh dear, the wick in the engine's gone out.

You also may want to check the Tokico kits available form the states. Especially with the strong Aussie $.
