B6 -> BP throttle wheel swap possible? (Dual throttle body)

Postby jerrah » Mon Aug 09, 2010 10:51 pm

I'm going to be using a dual throttle body setup on my supercharged MX5. I've noticed the NA6 throttle body (well at least mine does) has a dual cable pulley already on it, but I will be swapping to a BP throttle body with my conversion.

The BP throttle body has just a single cable wheel on it.

Are these interchangable somehow? The BP wheel seems to be pressed onto a shaft, whereas the B6 has a nut at the wheel end.

The second one is for cruise control IIRC.
Maybe try finding an NB one with cruise control too - I can't be ure, but I'd suspect that would do the trick.
When results speak for themselves - don't interrupt.
