D'oh! And you even mentioned you bought yours from Repco!
Might have a look at picking one up then, I'm attempting to save some space to fit a Mini PC in the back, if I'm really lucky I might be able to cram it in ontop (spaced)
Thanks for that!

Re: JVC KS-AX3002 Amplifier Installation
Hi Lokiel,
I'm in the middle of installing cables through my centre console and have come across a problem. I've pulled my centre console out, lifted the carpet from the rear of the seats, and have noticed the cables currently run up and off somewhere under a metal plate? Do you have any pictures of where you ran the cables for this one? I'm hoping to run 3 or 4 cables through there - hopefully without drilling!

If you remove ("pull back") the carpeting behind the driver's rear right shoulder, you should see that there is a gap between the metal plates of the parcel shelf and side of the chassis. I passed the wires through that gap, no drilling required.
ie. My wiring runs along the centre tunnel, through the carpeting hole for the boot and fuel-cap release, and diagonally up and across to behind the driver's right shoulder and through the gap below the parcel shelf.
If you remove the plastic carpet fasteners on the parcel shelf behind the driver you should be able to peel the carpet back enough to see the gap I'm talking about.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for that, I'll give it a go this afternoon. Hopefully this can all be finished soon, just want my car back in one piece! Driving without a centre console is suprisingly annoying, not to mention I forgot to take out the window switches so I can't wind the windows down!

Same hole also exists on the passenger side.

Thanks for the replies, I was able to find that hole you were talking about. I started getting too into it however and pulled up half the carpets on the shelf as well, too enthusiastic I guess! :p
