brown ooz coming from clutch peddle

Hi Guys,

I have brown ooz coming from where the "pole" thats attached to the clutch peddle heads into the engine bay (yes Im a girl) So its a slow leak down to were the footrest is.......... next to the accelerator brake and clutch peddle. I have a 1993 MX5. Any advice if anyone understand what Im going on about?

Looks like your gunna need a new clutch master cylinder, by the sounds of it the clutch fluid hasn't been changed for a bloody long time.
I'd suggest that the slave cylinder (the other piece in the clutch system) be replaced at the same time.

I'd suggest you talk to Les regards someone to help you maintain you car.(MX52NV)

+1 what Terry said, sounds like youve got a hydraulic leak that you will need to repair, it will also strip the paint if it gets on any so just be aware.
