We will see, Josh. Let me find some funding for some new wheels first.

Re: My Bleck 8B
SP Motorsport intake has now gone to a new owner so I'm now left with a stock airbox with speed holes.
Went down to Marulan today with the NSCC. Very fun and technical course.
Thanks to Daniel McKenna for the photos.

Re: My Bleck 8B
Not much progress lately. Bought a set of Rennenmetal tow rings which I have only put the rear on (at an angle ) and a Joyfast knob has replaced my Voodoo. Might be able to get my hands on a DDMWorks intake kit if/when the current owner (Hi Regie ) decides to remove it but I'm in no rush. Have a 3A pod hanging off the end though, so maybe a slight rush.
Oh and waiting on my hardparking shipment. Should be here soon.
Did Marulan last weekend too! Second time there and I am really enjoying this little technical track as it is perfect for a small underpowered FR car. Only thing letting the car down are the hard as rock RT215s. In saying that, the car is very easy to control at the/my limit. Hitting up Wakefield with the NSCC this Saturday so there will be more track photos in the coming days/weeks!

Very nice looking car.
I was wondering if you got the SMB mid pipe with or without resonator. Does the Aussie exhaust need an O2 sensor plug point around the cat?

With resonator. Planning to delete it though. Maybe.
No idea with the O2 sensor. I think twinlol and sheepish will be able to help you in the other build thread.

Hey man, What year is your NB?
They (the smb systems) have an O2 sensor on the cat pipe, before the cat. But the SMB system comes with a second 02 sensor hole in the midpipe section. They will (should) supply the bung for the second whole as early NB8Bs and 8As don't have the second sensor.
My comments on the resonator are in my build thread pal.

Hard to know which is more stunning - black with silver wheels or dk green with bronze wheels. Both gorgeous.

Re: My Bleck 8B
This is a lot louder. The way I like it.
Could be my old set-up with the pod next to the headers but the DDMWorks seems to have a beefier mid range and better response.

Louder than an SMB? Wow, thats pretty loud.
Would you say this has better 'seat of the pants' power? Or does the difference seem negligible? It's a tricky question to answer I know, I'm sorry!
Just theres a pretty massive price difference between the DDMWorks and the SMB system, so I'm curious as to whether SMB is worth it.
