I vote for stupid-o'clock.

Pretty sure it's at the heart of roadster culture. Also a key part of a successful run.

I agree with the even earlier starting time, and i like the concept of the a mx5 time "stupid o clock" . It makes the event a adventure . Getting up before most people. Pulling the roof down, cranking the four cylinders into action ,snarl of the exhaust (or in my case the inlet pipe NC2), crunching of the gravel as the tyres bite into the tarmac . And the cool morning air brushing the face. Turn on the Bose and twiddling the volume dial up to create that vibrating sound The dawn is breaking and the thought of no other cars interrupting the drive brings that mx5 smile to your face

An earlier start is better :D , so long as the run starts on time and does not make getting out of bed at sparrows fart a waste of time because the start is delayed because someone has to get fuel  or is running late  other than the organiser.

With a dawn buster start you can plan a breakfast stop on route or brunch in Bathurst. 8)

Hey guys,

Sorry been away in the country for family reasons hence no replies.

Great to hear we have stirred up some more support for this run.

Fingers crossed for good weather!

If Mania are happy I'll leave a little A4 print out telling customers about the run in the coming weeks.

Regards,

Hethro :D

Unless we are at the caves very early it could be a nightmare during school holiday times.

Just something to think about

maybe we could go to the caves first then MT PANO then back to Sydney?

I would love to do a crazy early morning run down to the caves grab a Hot Chocolate/Coffee at Caves house if open that early, then continue on to Mt Panorama.

You call that 'too epic'? I live at Windsor, that's the route I'd be taking anyway...

No, 'too epic' would be Windsor McDonalds => Bells Line Of Road => Mt Victoria => Jenolan => Oberon => Bathurst => Mt Panorama a couple times => Lithgow => back to Windsor => keep on going => up Putty Rd => across to Old Pac Hwy => one of the FnC Run destination for dinner.

Boom-shak-a-lak.
