The one that got away
Jdm SSR 15x7, looks like good offset. chunky tyres not to my taste. Wrecker would not sell because on rolling shell with papers. Heartbroken, would have painted centres satin black.

Nooooooooooooooooo! I love SSR Formula Mesh!!!! This is so sad mate.... Out of interest though, what was the shell and how much did he want for it?
$1200 for the shell... Score, just put some stockies on it and roll it back to them hahaha.

The rolling shell was a Toyota Sprinter, and they are going to rebuild and sell licenced. No budging on the rims.

Now when you say sprinter, was it a boxy 80s car or a somewhat curvy 90s.

Look at the guards, it's obviously an ae86. Same shape guards and you can see the lines in the body.

That era Toyota was 4x114.3 PCD, not the 4x100 of the NA/NB. Wouldn't have fit anyway.

Really? I'd trust conversion spacers a hell of a lot more than redrilling.

You can get conversion spacers??? Oh god, if that's the case I'll put my Watanabe RS-8's that are sitting in the garage on my car!

Re: The one that got away
Yeah but unless you want to cut your wheel studs down you'd need to run 25mm spacers (or 30mm, i can't remember how long the stocks studs are). Alternatively you can get a 15mm 4x100 to 4x114.3 spacer and just cut the stock studs down (so they don't stick out past the spacer). Why won't someone just make a conversion kit!!!

Are there any kits at all? Because I've been thinking long and hard about doing this. Think about it, the support for decent aftermarket wheels is widened tenfold. Think of all the awesome negative offset mental jdm stuff you can fit with a 4x114.3 pcd and no more settling for front wheel drive high offset flat faced 4x100 wheels

Re: The one that got away
Why bother when wide low offset JDM goodness is easily obtainalbe from Japan, just like 4x114.4 rims?
