Veloce - as in 1966 Alfa Romeo 1600 GT Veloce, my first and still probably favourite car that stood out beyond others of its size, use etc. in its era.

Re: People's real names v forum names
I'm James and you will likely find me (and sometimes my partner Kym) at the track events being organised through the MX5 club though we do hope to get to some of the road events before the MX5 goes completely track slag.
The user name deviant is something I have used for pretty much any sign up since I was about 15 and wanted to look cool or something. I have a few piercings and tattoo's so when ever I go to forum meet ups I often dont need to introduce myself; I just get "And you must be deviant?"

My name is Andrew.
Narcoticx2 came about when I was about 13 or 14 and needed a cool screen name to play all my online games. I thought it sounded awesome at the time. I now think it's rather lame, however it's stuck around due to lack of something better.

Yo, name is Josh
Nanotech comes from deviantART.com. Back in highschool when I was like 16 I set up a dA account and needed a cool sounding account name and somehow it became my email and pretty much screen name for everything since. I think it came from Red Faction 2. I was playing back in school with a mate around that time and was obsessed with the Nano-Uzi's and then somehow that bled into Nano-Tech etc.. These days I hate it but it's pretty much stuck and I may as well keep using it lol

My real name is Dominique, but everyone calls me Dom
And that's a girl's name
My forum name is just a nickname that's stuck because of my appearance apparently

As some of you already know, Im Josh.
Raw South was the name of a character in a playstation game... Yeah I know, its pretty lame, but I've had it for years.
If I had of known how much I would be using the forum, I probably would have chosen something a little less random lol

Re: People's real names v forum names
after using an alias through high school as John Bophini (made up) i got sick of trying to spell the last name to people
so i changed my email address to something more mature, and started changing my logons to forums ect.
its just my name, and postcode where alot of my mates come from. So we used to be the 2221 boys, not that we advertised it or anything (not like a bra boy)
its good, cause by involving numbers, i have yet to come across a place where the username isnt taken!

I should probably introduce myself as well. My Name is Robert. I get my login from my other car.
The Corvette was getting expensive as a track car. Bought my Na6 with a hard top for $5000, the brake/Wheel/Tyre upgrade on the Chevy would have cost me more than that for the gear I wanted. Still an awesome car to cruise along the motorway in though

Twinlol comes from my online gaming days, one of my mates had a character called Twinblade, and to show him up I made Twinlol to take the piss, and it stuck. lol
When I'm not Twinlol I'm ContactZer0, one of my all time favourite books.
Oh, and when I'm not Twinlol Or ContactZer0 I'm Adrian.

Welcome Adrian
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Re: People's real names v forum names
Put me down for "nickname was picked many moons ago and kinda stuck"
I've always been a chronic insomniac, and as often happens after several nights in a row of 3 or 4 hours sleep I tend to resemble a zombie - and as this was pointed out to me on a regular basis by those closest to me, I got stuck with the name.
That, and it's an awesome Cranberries song
What's in your head?

My name is Aaron.
But everyone calls me Az. Or Azza. Or Duck, but only when I'm playing cricket.

Real name is Ben.
Rxticle is because I had an Rx7 at the time, and ticle from testicle. So together, the pronunciation is Rexticle. Weird.
