Not sure where the NB reference comes in as the AMX07 kit is made for the NA.
And I realise these things is case in point in the saying of, \"beauty is in the eye of the beholder\".
But say you bought a rough NA with bad paint stone chips and dents all over the place, or worse.
I would say doing something like the AMX07 kit would only be a little more expensive than getting the dents repaired and a full respray.
I'm sure the photos do not do the cars justice too.
People have made real meals of their cars by putting VeilSide body kits on them, and I would consider the AMX07 kit a thousand times before installing anything with the VeilSide name on my baby.

Yes about personal taste. I think the NA conversion looks terrific- makes the car look like it was designed yesterday. As for the NC also very attractive and the size of the grille looks to me that one could accomodate driving lamps recessed to give outstanding open road lighting. Cost always is a factor approx $10k basic according to the link. If you were doing up an NA and wanting a new lease of looks and a project you may well be tempted.

Is there any similar Aston Martin-esque body kits for NB's?

The AMX kits only fit on a NA, what confuses everyone, is that Misha the kit designer is also stripping the interior, dash and all, then fitting an NB interior.
The car is not trying to exactly match a current Aston Martin DB9 Volante or Vantage, it has a hint of those cars in it, and naturally the front grill makes no mistake that is trying to be an Aston. The suposed 7/8 size baby Aston tag is just marketing. The NA model is getting old, sure they still look great, but we dont have to save them all, some can move on and start a new life. You can be as passonate as you like about the marque, but nearly everyone on this forum has done something to make their car stand out and be an individual statement of themselves. Some have remained so true that not one part of the car has change and they dare not even respray it because thats not the original paint.
Make up your own mind if you like what happens to these cars, but everyone will wear different coloured socks, dont try for uniform sock colour.

I think I like this bodykit. It's a bit of fun and although it is Aston-ish it's just different enough to make people look twice. I think this would be fun to put on a V8 powered MX5! Thats what it is all about right...fun?!
The only thing I don't really like with the kit is the side view and the pinched in, small doors.

If you'd like a kit like this, you should also check out the Simpsons Design site as they do some very attractive kits too that don't try to look like something else.

Personally, I don't mind the Manta Ray kit.

As I said different coloured socks for everyone, if thats what you like then your choice, and I guess that if someone wants to pick the thing to pieces then its also there choice.
But recognize everybody has "choice".
