Hey guys,
Going to get 4 new tyres, wondering what others recommend for the 5, I prefer 185x55x15 for sizing
I drive the car daily but with alot of excitement, dint mind how many ks they will last, not not semi slicks a friend told me toyo t1r's r good

Potenza RE001s in the 55 profile look quite beefy, they puff out at the sides and look tough, should suit your oldskools well. If you look in Sheepish's build thread you will see them the 15 inch 55 profile, however they are a 205 but you will get the idea.
I've heard good things about them, they aren't a semi slick but they are a good roadholding tyre, since you drive on the street naturally wet weather needs to be handled confidently. (I'm also buying them soon.)
You should be able to get them in 15 inch for about $160. Not bad.

G'day, I just put RE001's on my car and they are great in wet. For reference I paid $99ea for 185/60/14's.

Check out ebay for bargain tires if you don't have a local dealer who helps you out!
The better models of Federal 595's like the evo's and SS's are quite good too.
