Count me in, can i suggest an slightly earlier start. As nothing worse and getting caught behind a car.

I agree with Robert. The punters are well and truly up and out by 8.30 going to church, out for breakfast etc., and slowing the crossing of the Blue Mountains far more than the road works and variable speed zones. :(

Having said all that I do not have to recover from a good Saturday night on the town to get to Penrith early :P so departure time is up to Hethro as the organiser and/or a consensus of those taking part :?: .

A 8.30 start might get me out to Penrith. An earlier start is far more attractive and means you hit the roads around Tarana and Oberon a little after 9.00 am. 8) Another bonus is that you would get to Bathurst before the midday sun makes soft top driving something less pleasant in the hottest month in the year.

Mate, I'll get to wherever we need to start at 5:30am if people are keen (all the Putty Rd / Iceberg runs are around 6am start anyways)

Hate... being stuck behind a truck / people mover doing 80kms on a 100kms road...

Quoted for truth! I frequent Bell's Line to get to relatives in the bush and the best runs have always been either at stupid o'clock in the morning or around lunch time on a week day :)
