Actually, if you want to search i think Hammer might have posted some pics of a broken PPF from his SP on the forum a few months ago.

Sorry for such a late reply all.

But good news, the sound is gone. I took everyone's comments on board an went back to collect the car.

When i got to the workshop, we hoisted the car back up and took off the bracing. We had tried absolutely everything else, even removing all of the suspension

This is what the bracing looked like...



If you can see, the left hand side mounting point is a bit bent, this was causing the exhaust to swing across just enough to rub on the mount. This was a touch annoying to find out as we had examined the exhaust before hand. I was not charged for the time spent finding the problem which i thought was excellent service.

We proceeded to remove the old braces...



And proceeded to fit these blue lumps of JDM goodness. Cusco front and rear subframe braces/tension bars.
