Hi.... if you do a web search, you will find heaps of places that make aftermarket soft tops for the MX-5. The only problem is fitting it yourself.... Check out the forum sponsors, to see if they offer replacement soft tops and fitting. I believe fitting a replacement is quite a bit of effort, albeit not overly complicated. If you watch Foxtel, see if you can get a re-run of the "Wheeler Dealers" episodes where they refurb an old MX-5, as it has a bit of footage of a guy replacing a soft top.
There are companies selling them on Ebay as well (one of them manufactures in Australia).

As NC points out removal & refitting involves quite a bit of effort, which is time consuming. If doing it yourself allow a day without interruption, or from the quote I was once given about 6 hours labour for someone in the business that knows what they're doing.
