Re: NA's Show off your rims!
Do you know the offset then?
Also having 0 degree camber doesn't help.

Wheels are supelites 15 x 7 ET06 5/114.3 not sure if that tells you the offset.

Re: NA's Show off your rims!
ET06 would tell us that they were +6 offset, but I'll guarantee you that they aren't 5/114.3 so I'm fairly sceptical of the whole thing.
That's a PCD listing and the MX5 is 4/100. That is to say four studs in a 100mm diameter circle. 5/114.3 simply wouldn't fit.
I thought they were Sportmax originally sorry, I need to pay more attention. I think 15x7 Superlites only came in +12 and +25 and you shouldn't be having problems with those tyres on either of those wheels. Any other pictures? Only the rear you say?

Re: NA's Show off your rims!
If it's the rear, it's obviously the suspension being too soft + 0 degree camber, there's no other way it can scrub.
If the suspension is super stiff, you wouldn't be having any problems.

Thanks for the info on the numbers & how they work makes sense, I have the original receipts from tyre place when purchased by previous owner & that is what is on the invoice
Will take some pics of the rear to show them sticking out.

Re: NA's Show off your rims!
No chance in hell are those "Wheels are supelites 15 x 7 ET06 5/114.3 not sure if that tells you the offset."
I'm dead sure these are 15x8, this is Cosmo's old car. I know because I was going to trade my Wat's for those same superlites since he didn't want to roll his guards to get the car lower etc. I've seen these wheels on the car myself and can safely say they just stick out the guards. Will look very tough lowered but you're going to have to do a bit of work before you can drop it safely.
Yeah Cosmo told me those dimensions when he bought it but he and I both aren't so sure that's what they actually are. Also tyres should be Bridgestone Adrenalines in 15x185x50 if I remember correctly. That is an awesome car by the way! Pretty sure the timing has been advanced and he's pulled a heap of stuff out of the car to save weight. Does it still have this pod filter facing the headlight?

Yep this was Cosmos car & I agree it is an awesome car, no pod filter original filter only, the wheels are stamped 15x7J. tyres are Bridgestone Ardrenalines 195/50r15. Advaned timing would explain why it feels a bit quicker than my old NA6

Yeah, 15x7 in +12 or +25 wouldn't come close to sitting out like that. If nanotech is correct I'd say it would be more likely to be 15x8 +4, which would explain the rubbing. You could get them lower with a little camber and some rolling if you wanted to go down that route. Not sure why they're stamped 15x7.

Yeah this is the same thing I thought. My wheels are 6.5" and I remember next to Cosmo's, his looked at least another whole inch wider. Either way they are awesome wheels, I really wish I did the trade with him. Those coulda been mine!!! XD Haha, things you regret eh?z
Ages ago I said to Cos that if he really wanted to, could go coilovers and set it to a height you're happy with as well as adjusting the camber. Shouldn't have to guard roll that way. Up to you though, but yeah they look nice!!

Re: NA's Show off your rims!
Been trying to understand a bit of photo fixing techniques in the ole Photoshop tonight, so thought I'd post one here given the recent wheel acquisition.
