Toymx5, you'd be welcome to come on the run too. Come down, see what you think and if you enjoy yourself (which i think you will) you should join the club!

Will hopefully be leaving from Skye (deposit placed hope to have it in my garage in time). I assume you are talking about coming from Frankston direction, Would be up for joining a convoy about Seaford Safeway carpark area.

I'm coming from Balnarring so Seaford would be fine for me.
Cheers

We've had a few questions about M1 upgrade & traffic flow, esp from drivers who don't drive these main roads very often.

Pls check out this link if you are coming from Bolte or the Monash tunnels if you haven't dríven this road for a while. You are heading for the Todd Road Service Centre:

Tunnels: You need to stay in lane for Bolte Bridge then go straight ahead for "Todd Road Service Centre". There are now concrete barriers between Westgate Bridge Traffic and Bolte Bridge traffic.

Bolte: When getting off the Bolte off ramp, head straight then veer to the left as signposted "Todd Road Service Centre"

Here is the link for a map:

http://www.mcwupgrade.com.au/news/lates ... -lane.aspx

If you miss the turnoff, go over the Westagate Bridge and either U-Turn @ Williamstown Rd & back over or meet us all on that side

See you then!

Joni

Did Geelong AB home via Forrest on Tuesday.Road surface for the last 10 or so klms into Skenes cr is breaking up quite badly, may be wise to leave a few extra car lengths gap to give a better sight of the pot holes and avoid flying rocks.Had been a few earth/rock slides and the edge was slipping away in a few places so there may be some barricades up too.

Still a great run though.

I stayed up at the otway light house for a mate bday last weekend and drove Home via the GOR on Sunday around lunch and most of the road surface was great! There were no road works like last year either! Let's hope the weather holds out for us as there was a fair bit of debre on the road after separation creek....

Toymx5 hope to see you there mate, maybe we can meet up near your place and drive in? I finally got some Tyres on the new wheels! I went with your advice and got Dunlop Z1 starspecs from Stuckeys.

Can't wait to see wheels and tyres, very trick :) Stuckeys have been the Dunlop race tyre distributor in Vic since before you were born, what they don't know about tyres isn't worth knowing !

Cool, do you want to meet at my place at 5.15ish and we can head to the meeting point, it's only 15 mins from here !

Very well organised, short stop at Lorne and then at your own pace to A/B
Great morning ,cars looked magnificent and totally tookover the town.
Should be more of these, congratulations to all concerned.
Took the Le and the NC (with a lttle help) and both handled beautifully, LE still the more pure sports car,NC deceptively quick and feeling smaller and lighter the more I use it.
