SHAZAM!!!!!

We're in business. Pulled the computer and re-did the harness on the work bench. Put back in, charged the battery and she kicked over. No actual firing up but that does not surprise me with the injenctors in there.

So we are off to tuning on Friday.

2 or 3 weeks left I reckon.

Sounds good Monty, who's doing the tune?
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

Nick and Sean are great blokes, bet they'll try and get you to run her on E85.

Top 3 cars at the Club Autotest on the weekend were all tuned by Steve Thomas.

Text him on his mobile (you have PM) and he will call back once he gets off the dyno.

Has he moved it? I thought the local council was on his back.

Simon's car was getting tuned at GTI performance these days I think.

Steve has never dynotuned from home.

Steve Thomas has always used the 4WD Dyno at Top Racing or any other dyno workshop that needs him. He is a subcontractor after all.

Simon Corston has only used Steve to tune the V500 after his rebuild - to my knowledge. I'll ask though...

I told them I wasnt interested in a peak figure- just a nice linear curve and reliability

Update

They cant work out the hot start. As it happens the Adaptronic tuner is in Perth this week at Hyperdrive so is going to swing by and have a look.

Chris's car is probably back there with a blown turbo seal, if they could if they can suss it out might help you both.

yeah, they said there were five cars at Hyperdrive he was having a look at. Hyperdrive is now an adaptronic dealer.

Good luck for me I suppose as I would imagine they will update the software while they are at it.
