Yes, it is a long weekend. Initially I thought it might not be such a good idea to have this on the long weekend (people going on holidays and double demerits) but at least this gives everyone a chance to recover over an extra day.

Make sure you both get a few to the chest, back, and both sides of your ribs. That way you will be in pain just breathing never mind laughing or sleeping for a week or 3.

Then just as you are healing, have a big night on the turps, crash on a mates couch then fall off couch onto carpet over concrete slab floor while sleeping and you will be in pain for another few weeks.

Its lots of fun trust me i know from personal experience

Just spoke to a guy at Action and this is the deal:

If we want to have our own group on the day with our own refs we do need to have 20+ people, book 1 week ahead and pay a $50 p/p deposit 48 hours prior to the day. I feel that we can get 20+ people and it would be awesome to have our own group so let's go for it. A bonus of booking ahead is every player on the day will get an extra 100 balls and the organiser gets 1000 (so I can shoot all you non paying loafers).

I am going to start a new thread in the next day or so with more details.
