Really? I didn't notice any change with my ARC pipe. Maybe I just can't hear it over the exhaust...

update time :D

Ok so this week has been sick lol

lowered the front and recieved the spoiler in time for the jdmst meet and i think it looks cool :P

With the spoiler the fitment was ok.. same as with any carbon fibre piece its never perfect,
but i was able to make it work and it fits pretty good.

Also since i have lowered it i have eliminated the scubbing in the rear and only got a little bit
on the front left but thats just because the fender is flocked already..

Here are some pictures from the meet.

I also bought a set of whiteline adjustable swaybars and a bride zeta II :D
I still need to figure out what i wanna do with the rails but i got the sparco till that goes in :)

Hope u like it as much as i do

cheers

Then today i went and got my swaybars installed down the road at jax quick fit. By
the looks of things im glad they did it

I also lowered the rear just a bit to bring it all even with the front.. Wheel alignment
tomoro hopefully then that should be the end of my scrubbing issues.

Ill give an update of the sway bars soon.. i havent really been able to drive much yet but it will come

charlie_91 wrote:After this was the spacers and heres how they look :) Im pretty happy with it and the handling has improved due to the camber in the front

Am I missing something? How'd ya get more camber with spacers?

Excellent thread and a beautiful car.

If you don't mind me asking - where did you get the spacers and how much were the sway bars to get installed?

Thanks

Cheers mate
I got the spacers from _xhondaboy_ on this forum.
The sway bars were 80 to get put in but I'm pretty sure that was only because he knows me. They don't usually do that stuff.

It was the Jax quick fit at aspley..

UPDATE :

so i kinda forget to update this one so ill just cram all my latest mods and what not into one post

Ive been wanting to make a brake master cylinder stopper for a while now and decided to finally get on to it last
night. It was pretty easy i thought but ill let my picture do the talking :)

pic from jdmst meet. Cheers matt.

Love this pic because it shows off the rear subframe brace and my car looks really clean lol

Ive got a small list of things i wanna do over the next month or so.

- Do the whole exhaust setup again (including all custom work)
- Boss frog frame rails
- Jackson racing cai

So i took off the rear sway bar the other day and the car handles alot better now. The rear feels planted but the front is responsive... SICK!!!

Also getting a quote atm for a jr cai and boss frog frame rails. Once i get that sorted i can start putting my exhaust together.
I also have sold both my other intakes so that was the ARC and the mania one.

This is what the engine bay should look like with the air intake. (minus the wiretuck)

Image

Its gonna be a pretty free flowing system but i dont want it to loud so we'll see what i come up with :D

This is a photo on the way home from jamboree..
Image

Update: So i picked up an exhaust today to start modifying.. I have to modify it anyways
because it interferes with the brace but i wanna see what i can come up with :D
Heres a pic.
Image

I just bought these
Image

Tuckin 99 floormats lol. My carpet is sh*t so these should do the trick.

Also im gonna keep that exhaust the way it is for a while. Just mod it to fit the brace then
if i dont like it ill change it in the future.

So in other news i fitted my intake and recieved my floor mats..

The intake took a while to do as there was a fair bit of steps involved. It sounds amazing and i can feel a bit more power difference then before with no intake.

I love it :D

Pics yo.

I know just need to clean my engine bay and put headers on :D
woooooooooooo

I also sold my mx5 plus roll bar and have now picked up a cusco safety 21 7pt roll cage from japan :)

Thats pretty much it atm lol. Hopefully i should get the exhaust done next week and frame rails not long after :)

thanks guys

Update:
So over the past week Rhy's and Jason from mx5 plus have been putting me together a custom exhaust made to my specs and what they have come up with is truly amazing i reckon.

The specs on it atm are 4 - 2 -1 headers, high flow stainless cat, 2.5" mid pipe section followed by lobster weld rear section including a resonator and muffler. The exhaust is really loud atm but im in the works with putting a muffler into the mid pipe.

Pics are as follows.

As you can see from the pics it looks awesome.

I highly recommend them for any type of work including custom stuff. Im wrapped with the outcome.

Pm me for any details if u want. cheers
