Central Locking Motor Broken
My door recently won't lock and open and I thought it was the spring's fault because I found the old one broken on the bottom of the door. I replaced that, and found that the central locking won't work. Basically when I press the lock button on my remote it attempts to go to lock, then just gets jammed or something and has to unlock. Will I have to get the motor replaced or is there a much easier solution?

I'd suggest pulling the door trim off and having a look. You'll quickly see whether the actuator is trying to do it's job but getting stuck, or if it's just not working at all.

the trim is off. When trying to manually lock the door from the inside it's very stiff. And won't stay in the locked position. Because of the bad angle I can't really see what's the problem.
