Something is different between the NB8A and the SP. The needles should also be bright white (or blue or red) as well as the odometer.
The needles and the odometer are the best bits! I got the idea to use white from my brother in law's new Lexus.
They're maybe gels in the sockets of the SP instead of the coloured condoms on the bulbs on earlier models?
Were the bulbs you replaced wearing coloured Durex or plain ???

There should be 4 large T10 sockets for the dials and one small T5 socket behind the odometer.

Re: New Dash Leds...
Didn't want to make a new thread just for this question...
The set of ZPE LEDs I purchased arrived today and they look like this:
which is a bit different to this from the install guide:
which has little light covers poking out the top. I know the red piece in this install guide pic is the holder, not part of what I would receive with the LEDs. The little yellow flat things in the LEDs I have don't really look like lights was my worried thought... are they just a different design?

Those LEDs look similar to those they use in mobile phones for the camera flash.

It's just a surface mount LED, nothing unusual....
Supreme Blue NB8B, 1:16.98 at Wakefield when stock, but it's not stock any more...

how is the throw of light?
The first picture looks like it wouldn't spread the light beam out as wide as the 2nd picture
