Input welcomed: w/end Sunny Coast mission plan

My Dad is visiting from Perth in October, for the express purpose of partaking in the MX5 lurve for a weekend! We'll head up to the Sunshine Coast taking it in turns to drive various bits of road.
I've scoured the Great Twisty Roads forum for all the info on roads around this area and have a map combining what info I could find: Clicky for Google Map

I would much appreciate any suggestions or amendments on the route I've got going here,as I am not very familiar with the inland areas of the Sunny Coast, but tried to cram in every road I saw mention of.

I am also open to suggestions for a place to stay overnight. As far as the accommodation goes, I'm looking for something nice, off the beaten track and not necessarily on the coast, and it doesn't have to be inexpensive. I do have an alternative for accommodation at Rainbow Beach (roughly added in the map for now), but would be keen to stay somewhere I haven't been.

I think you'll be pretty dizzy after that. You've covered just about everything there is to cover. The road you've taken from the Maleny Stanley River Road to Reesville starts out OK but I'd follow Reesville Rd around the loop and then continue on to Kenilworth. Engle Rd becomes unsealed and then ends AFAIK. See this link for the route I've taken and know works. There is a lookout at point B.

Stay away from Cooloola Way, it is gravel.
Westbound near Obi Obi is gravel, eastbound is touge style tarmac.

Blad Knob Rd = awesome
Malaney Stanley River Rd = awesome
Kenilworth - Brooloo = awesome
Mt Mee = good
Mt Glorious = good

Thank you for those tips. Yours as well JBT. :)

Project.r, by Cooloola Way do you perhaps mean Coolabine near Obi Obi? I think a couple of other roads I've got going near there are all dirt as well.

It's between Kin Kin and Rainbow Beach.
